Maghrib time |
The Maghrib (daan
sunn) is the daily ritual of fasting and prayer in Muslim society. While the
Maghrib is a religious obligation for many, there are those who choose to
follow their own moral code. Regardless of the reason for the fast, the process
can be trying and difficult.
For the first few days
of the Maghrib time, it is best to keep a food journal. Make sure to record
what you eat, when you eat it, how much and when you eat it. This will help you
keep track of what your body is absorbing and excreting, how much is left over
for later in the day and how long the remaining time is. It is important to
note if you are still hungry or not, because this will help you stay on track.
You should begin your
fasting for the initial three days of the Maghrib
time, with small meals that contain grains. While this may seem hard,
eating on a regular basis will help you feel fuller for longer. Try to eat more
on the third day. Your goal is to have eaten no more than three full meals by
the time you complete the fasting period. You should only consume food between
two and four hours before you start to fast.
After the fasting
period, you will need to start eating again, but only for three meals a day:
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat slowly and don't overeat. Eat three meals a
day for a total of seven. These seven meals should be large meals containing a
lot of food, but smaller meals that are full.
There is one main
factor that needs to be kept in mind while fasting and it have to do with
weight loss. If you are trying to lose weight during this time, you need to
watch how much you eat each day. Remember that there is a special formula that
determines how much you should eat each day, so you need to stick to this
chart.
If you have not yet
completed the Maghrib time, you should take a closer look at the food pyramid
and find out which food groups are easiest for you to digest. Foods like
potatoes, beans, vegetables, meat and fruits fall into the vegetable group.
These foods can make good meal replacements and a great way to replace dairy
products. There are also foods that are high in protein, such as meat, fish and
eggs, and these should be eating to promote and support healthy muscle growth.
During the fast, you
should avoid any sort of alternative medication, vitamins or supplements. Any
supplement that contains alcohol, caffeine, sugar, carbohydrates, caffeine,
yeast, fats or MSG should be avoided. As long as you follow the above-mentioned
advice, you should be able to remain healthy while doing the Maghrib.
When you finish the
fast, you should do the best you can to get back to normal as quickly as
possible. This means, don't go right back to eating whatever you normally do.
You should first stop eating and then gradually resume eating.
